Hey Group!
Ok so we need to create a Taskstream lesson plan on one of the topics from the concept map. Each of us will create a separate lesson plan and then turn it in through Taskstream.
Also we each need to evaluate 3 websites (9 total) we use the templet in module 3 called (form)Intel Evaluating Internet Resources Questionnaire.
Both are due Sunday
of course along with the other homework like the paper and etc.
-Ok so for the Taskstream lesson I would like to do a lesson plan on Marketing for the project. So I will create a lesson plan about design, who they are going to reach,why they are doing the project, posters, flyers, newsletter, communication. Marketing :)

ReplyDeleteOk that sounds great! I like your idea about marketing. I will do my lesson plan on the "ingredients" portion. I am planning on having students figure out the ingredients they will need to make lemonade and then try out different ratios of lemonade mix and water (connecting it to math). Let me know if that sounds good.
For the website evaluations there are no particular websites we have to evaluate correct? On the submission directions it says we need to submit them in one document. If you want to send me yours I can put them all together and submit it. If I could have them by mid-day Saturday so I have time to put them together by Sunday that would be awesome (if that is not possible that is fine! Just let me know).

I changed the background...they didn't have a kitchen/cooking theme. I can change it back if we don't like it. I did look through them. Sounds good about the lesson plan.

In terms of my lesson plan, I would like to focus on the "Economics/Finance" aspect of the lemonade stand (glad that was still available). I emailed our teacher and she said that we all submit our own web evaluations separately. Just make sure that your three evaluations are in one word document.

ReplyDeleteI know I mentioned this before, but I just wanted to let you know I will be in Kalamazoo this coming up weekend and was wondering if you wanted to get together to work on the group assignment due this week and maybe even get ahead on some of the future group work. It may be easier to do in person. I am available Saturday, June 4th at around 12pm or 1pm and can work for a couple hours. If you are available then and want to get together let me know!
I am all in favor of meeting up and getting a head start on our podcast. It seems like doing the podcast all together at once would be the easiest way to do it. Let me know what you guys think.
DeleteI was looking at the assignments for this week and was thinking about what I am going to do for the digital story. I was thinking to go with the lesson I made last week I will make a digital story about the history of lemonade/common ingredients/different flavors. I think it would fit well with my lesson. Just letting you know so we can all have different videos :)

Ok so for the video I will also do something with marketing that follows my lesson plan. should we make a google doc soon and start working on that group assignment?
